Fortis Arbor means “strong tree”. Our values, governance and relationships are the roots and trunk. Fortis Arbor Wealth and Fortis Arbor Capital are the branches, each growing in its own direction from the same foundations.

Our vision is to be the name families recommend to families, and that companies and investors return to, transaction after transaction.

Our story

From one adviser to a two-division group

  1. 2013Jamie Fletcher arrives in the UAE and begins advising families across the region.
  2. 2023Fortis Arbor is founded in Dubai to give families a more personal, long-term kind of advice.
  3. 2025Fortis Arbor Capital completes its first raise: £2.75m for Xergy, maker of the Proteus platform.
  4. 2026The group is organised into two divisions, Fortis Arbor Wealth and Fortis Arbor Capital.

CEO & Founder

Jamie came to the UAE in 2013 and spent the following decade advising families across the region, building the relationships and local understanding that Fortis Arbor is founded on. He started the firm in 2023 and today leads both divisions.
